What if I buy art and then decide I’m not happy with it? Your purchase is guaranteed. If you are not happy with it for any reason, you may arrange to return it within 14 days after you receive it as long as it is returned undamaged. I will refund your purchase price. You will only need to pay for return shipping.
What if it gets lost or damaged in shipping? All artwork will be insured, either with the carrier (UPS, FedEx, USPS, etc.) or I will insure it separately. If a piece is lost, generally I will need to file the claim and I will refund your money. If a piece is damaged, generally they will require you to file the claim and show them the damaged item. In that case, I will be happy to offer any assistance that I can in recovering your money.
Are shipping/delivery or sales tax included in the prices listed? Yes, shipping or local delivery charges and sales tax are both included in the stated price. If you are in Indiana, shipping is less, but there is sales tax to pay — if you are outside Indiana, shipping costs more, but there is no sales tax. So the flat fee stated includes both wherever you live.
Do you do commission work? If so, what do you charge? I am open to doing commission work, and so far I’ve had a couple very happy customers who commissioned pet portraits. The fee will depend on many factors – media, size, subject matter, and deadline. Send me an email if you would like to propose a project and I will provide a quote and answer any questions. Please note that I cannot produce art for you based on copyrighted images (photos that you or I did not take) or trademarked characters.
